St Ives pupils are going places...

My daughter knows the teachers in the school and they know her, it is friendly, warm and really knows it's stuff when it comes to child development.

Really nice nurturing environment, in lovely setting. Most important is how much my daughter loves it there - so much so she often doesn't want to come home!

My son, like all boys needs to get outside and be physical and the outdoor space at St Ives is an adventure park with lots of space to run and wonderful views, for him to run around in.

Independent Schools Inspectorate Report, 2015

I try to savour my days at St Ives as they are best school days I will ever have.

St Ives is a really exciting place to be, with so many fun activities and extra-curricular clubs so you’re never left out.

If I had to sum up St Ives in one word it would be AMAZING!

St Ives is caring and supportive, we are like a big family.

St Ives may look small but actually it is exploding with education excitement and fun, all of the teachers are inspiring in each and every lesson.

St Ives is a school which is full of opportunities to achieve great things.

Independent Schools Inspectorate Report

We are justifiably proud of the results of our most recent Independent Schools Inspectorate report. The 21-page report covers all aspects of the school and commends staff, pupils and governors for the many excellent aspects of the school including its teaching and learning, pastoral care, extra-curricular activities and the achievement of pupils.

The report demonstrates what a wonderful school St Ives is. The calibre of the education the children receive here, from early years all the way through to Year 6, has always been known to be strong. But this report provides the external validation to evidence what people locally know to be true. To quote from the main findings of the report:

"Pupil's achievements and the quality of their learning are excellent and they demonstrate high levels of subject knowledge and understanding."
"Pupil's attitudes to learning are outstanding and they show a genuine desire to work hard and enjoy their lessons.  Pupils’ high standards are enhanced by the broad and stimulating curriculum, supported by many extra-curricular activities and trips.  The excellent teaching makes a strong contribution to the pupils’ achievements."
"Pupils demonstrate excellent personal development and show high levels of spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness.  Their relationships with each other and with staff are strong, warm and supportive.  The school provides excellent pastoral support and guidance, and arrangements to promote their welfare, health and safety are high effective."

This is a testament to the hard work of everyone that we are not only a very happy, thriving community but that our children are gaining so much from their time here at one of the best primary schools in Surrey.

It's a great report and one that we're very proud of!
