Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Term always ends with an Easter Egg Hunt. Today, the children ran to find their eggs with even more urgency than usual as they were worried they were going to melt in the sun! We’ve never seen such diligent looking! Now we’ve seen how well the children can find things when they want to, we’re expecting an empty Lost Property next term 😀Happy Easter everyone!

Year 6 Scholarship Success

This is our Year 6 class who are celebrating a 70% success rate for scholarships and awards this year. The children gained their awards in a variety of disciplines, from Drama to Art to Cricket and Swimming to all rounded Academics and Maths, including a Top

Academic Scholarship to St Catherine’s in Bramley and an Honorary Head’s Award to King Edward’s Witley. The diversity of the scholarships reflect the breadth and depth of the education that we offer and the strength of character of our wonderful pupils.

Mrs Kay Goldsworthy, Our Head Teacher, said: “We are so proud of all our pupils who have done so well to gain places at their chosen senior schools and to have received so many scholarships is excellent. These accolades prove that our unique offering of small class sizes and specialist teaching ensure our pupils reach their potential in all areas of

school life, giving them an excellent grounding for senior school and beyond. They will thrive in their new schools and we wish them a really bright future.”

year 1 Visit to Painshill Park

Year 1 visited Painshill Park on Monday. The children took part in a 'dragon quest' in the morning where they completed a series of nature based tasks and had fun exploring the park in the afternoon whilst thinking about different habitats. It was a lovely, sunny day and everyone had a fantastic time!

Ukraine Appeal

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our families who have donated so much for our Ukraine appeal. Thank you so much. Thank you too to the pupils in Years 5 and 6 who helped sort all the donations into categories this afternoon and load up the vans. Well done to Mrs Viner for getting us involved in this extremely worthwhile project.
