At St Ives, we believe education should be relevant, interesting, stimulating, engaging, and above all, fun! Learning can take place anywhere, in and out of the classroom, and so we seize every opportunity. We have specialist subject teachers and small class sizes to ensure that our pupils can thrive in lessons. Our aim is for every child to leave St Ives at the end of the day feeling that today really was the best day ever.

St Ives is a wonderful school! Our children are thriving and skip into school every morning. Mrs Goldsworthy and the team she has built are a credit to her leadership, dedication and genuine care for each child’s development. The engaging curriculum, nurturing environment, and wide range of opportunities help our children grow in confidence, curiosity, and creativity. It’s clear that every member of staff is committed to making learning a joyful and enriching experience. We couldn’t ask for a better place for our children to learn. Parent Survey November 2024

'Senior leaders and staff place a great emphasis on kindness, this is demonstrated in the relationships observed between pupils of different ages. For example, pupils throughout the school play happily and purposefully together at break time. Pupils frequently express approbation for each other and during discussions spoke with great pride about the opportunity to share messages in the gratitude box and receive feathers of kindness.'
