Welcome to St Ives School

Educational excellence for girls and boys

St Ives is an exceptional prep school for girls aged 2-11 and boys aged 2-7, set in 8 acres of beautiful parkland just a short drive from Haslemere High Street.

However, we are excited to announce that from September 2020 we are going to become fully co-educational throughout the school.  This allows the boys we currently have in Pre-Prep to continue their education with us where they are happy and thriving, with a view to having boys in all year groups by 2023

At St Ives, we believe education should be relevant, interesting, stimulating, engaging, and above all, fun! Learning can take place anywhere, in and out of the classroom, and so we seize every opportunity. We have specialist subject teachers and small class sizes to ensure that our pupils can thrive in lessons. Our aim is for every child to leave St Ives at the end of the day feeling that today really was the best day ever. Read more

If I had to sum up St Ives in one word it would be AMAZING!

St Ives is a really exciting place to be, with so many fun activities and extra-curricular clubs so you’re never left out.

I try to savour my days at St Ives as they are best school days I will ever have.

Independent Schools Inspectorate Report, 2015

St Ives School is a very smiley place and everyone is happy to come to school every day.

I love St Ives because of the grounds, the beautiful view and lessons.

Sophie (age 8)

It is cheerful, enthusiastic, and encouraging every day I come in excited and leave wanting to carry on my lessons! I am so lucky to have this school.

Annie (age 10)

I love St Ives so much because we learn lots and we do lots of sport and Forest School. I really enjoy everything!

Tabitha (age 9)

Really nice nurturing environment, in lovely setting. Most important is how much my daughter loves it there - so much so she often doesn't want to come home!

Parent 2016

My daughter knows the teachers in the school and they know her, it is friendly, warm and really knows it's stuff when it comes to child development.
