Hello and Welcome from FOSI
FOSI - Friends of St Ives School - is a fun and active Parent-Teacher-Friends-Association that come together to organise family events such as Fireworks Night, Halloween Party, Quiz Night & Silent Auction, Comedy Evenings, Bedtime Stories, Silent Discos and much, much more.
Our aim is to help foster the school community spirit and to ensure that all families feel welcome at St Ives. At the same time, it is great to be able to raise some extra money to fund additional equipment for both indoor and outdoor learning. In the last two years we have been delighted to have raised enough money for:
- Outdoor Classroom - plus extra outdoor learning equipment such as bug collectors, collecting buckets, hacksaws and fire steels
- Reception Outdoor Learning Area with a large canopy so the children can play outdoors whatever the weather
- New Netball Posts with branded protectors
- Tennis Courts re-surface
- Gym Mats upgrade to the fantastic Gymonova mats
- New games for the playground, including badminton sets, space hoppers, quoits, skipping ropes and dominoes
- New computing equipment for all year groups, including 20 new ipads, a large selection of coding books, Beebots and Rugged Robots
- Additional Art Supplies
- Phonics equipment for the Nursery
