Pastoral care is so important to us. Our Wellbeing Club allows pupils to relax & focus on their emotional wellbeing. After an introduction to yoga, pupils have started work on their "I've got this!" posters, which are designed to boost resilience & self esteem.

Pupils have enjoyed a very inspiring morning thanks to Darren Challis and Sports for Schools. Darren ran a fun fitness circuit for all the children and motivated them to 'Dream it, believe it, achieve it!'

In Forest School this week, Pre-prep helped collect firewood for Autumn, completed some simple forest-care tasks & had a well-earned play on the pirate ship & rope swing. 

Our Nursery children have had a 'beary' good week. Using the story 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' they've explored mud & had to describe how it looks & feels, they've ordered teddies into size order and even been on a bear hunt in our forest. They've had such fun!

Excellent work in DT from Yr 3 this week. They've started designing and making their own slippers. Watch this space for their finished products - there may be a few surprises!

A great start to Arts & Crafts Club. Our first session started with a nature walk around the beautiful grounds collecting treasures to create our own Autumnal collage.

Reception have had a great first day, spending time going through their ‘About Me’ boxes and getting to know each other. They have also practised their writing in their new literacy books. What a fantastic start children!

It's fantastic to have all our children back at school.  They're obviously thrilled to be here and we're thrilled to have them!  We also welcome lots of new children (and their families) to St Ives.
