Local Community

We have always had strong connections with the local community as we feel it is important for St Ives girls to be aware of the wider community in which they live, to appreciate the good fortune of their own circumstances and to be motivated to help others.

The school supports a range of local groups, such as the Haslemere Disability Centre, the Stroke Club and several residential homes for the elderly through concerts, recitals and regular visits, as well as larger national charities such as Macmillan Nurses, the NSPCC and Dr Barnado’s.

Our nursery and pre-prep departments also enjoy regular visits from important community members, such as the local nurse, police and fire service and even have fun making pizzas during a visit to Pizza Express in Midhurst!
